Mariachi Tequila Festival is an indoor festival and concert, showcasing Mexico’s first loves: Mariachi & Tequila!

This incredible pair fused together created an unforgettable moment in Chicago, this November 9th, 2012 at the Copernicus Theater!

Many tequila vendors, showcased their products and provided samples to over 1,700 people, while they enjoyed the wonderful sounds of Mariachi music, folkloric dancing, “Charro” rodeo-style rope tricks, and delicious authentic Mexican food from Lalo’s Restaurant from Maxwell.

With close to 1,800 people in attendance,  the festival featured an amazing concert including the Academy of Mexican Dance & Music, Mariachi Real Guadalajara, Mariachi Plata y Oro, the beautiful and talented Diana Eliza Negrete, granddaughter of el “Charro Cantor”,  and the stellar presentation by Rafael Jorge Negrete, grandson of the one and only, Mexican icon,  “El Charro Cantor”, Jorge Negrete.

We can’t wait for Mariachi & Tequila Fest 2013!  We are planning an even greater event that will be a must see!  We hope that everyone who came to the festival and concert enjoyed it, I’m pretty sure you did, since we have not gotten a complaint on the performance!   We are delighted to bring to you traditional Mariachi music, and all the best of Mexico to Chicago.

El festival de Mariachi y Tequila es un festival y concierto, que presenta los primeros amores de Mexico:  Mariachi y Tequila!

Este par combinado creo una noche inolvidable en Chicago este 9 de Noviembre en el Copernicus Theater!

Muchos vendedores de Tequila, presentaron sus productos y proveran pruebas de tequila a mas de 1,700 personas, mientras disfrutaban de los sonidos de Mariachi, balet folklorico, floreadores, y de la mejor comida autentica Mexicana de Lalo’s de Maxwell!

Con una presencia de casi 1,800 personas, el festival presento un concierto magnifico, incluyendo la Academy of Mexican Dance & Music, Mariachi Real Guadalajara, Mariachi Oro y Plata, la hermosa y talentosa Diana Eliza Negrete, nieta del “Charro Cantor”, y la presentacion estelar de Rafael Jorge Negrete, nieto del unico idolo Mexicano, Jorge negrete!

Estamos anciosos de traerles el proximo Festival del Mariachi y Tequila 2013! Estamos planeando un evento mas espectacular aun.   Esperamos que todos los que vinieron al festival se la hayan pasado bien, aunque parece que si, ya que hemos recebido unicamente cumplidos del show!  Estamos encantados de traerles musica tradicional de mariachi, y lo mejor de Mexico a Chicago!
